As my capstone project, I designed a merchandise line for a student band at Syracuse University called Picture Us Tiny. I decided to create a diverse line featuring different apparel and accessories in order to have something for every member of their audience and at every price point. Picture Us Tiny contrasts a heavy pop-punk sound with emotional lyricism, which I translated into using tougher elements like chains and high-contrast imagery in juxtaposition with light colors and delicate text.

I started by sketching the type variations I planned to use, creating the chain brush asset in Photoshop, and transforming their preexisting cartoon head logo from an image into a vectorized logo that could be resized and used in multiple contexts. Once I had the basic assets I knew I wanted to use, I moved on to creating each design and mocking it up.
