During my spring 2022 semester, I worked with J. Christopher Hamilton, a professor at the S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communications, to create a pitch deck for a TV concept series telling the story behind the 80’s Harlem drug lords that inspired the movie Paid in Full. The series would include two multi-season shows following the lives of Alpo Martinez and Rich Porter and one documentary series. We focused on using symbolic imagery and layering techniques to convey the chaos of the time and call back to specific events.
